Mark Harvey attempts here to wrap himself up in very stiff cardboard in his mother’s bedroom, in front of a mirror. Thinking about his cultural location, genealogy and perspectives of masculinity in Aotearoa/New Zealand. (Also exhibited at City Gallery, Wellington, in snippets at Te Papa, National Museum of Aotearoa New Zealand, Parnu International Video and Film Festival, Estonia, 2006, and a development of this at the Govett Brewster Gallery, Taranaki.)
