Richard DeDomenici is an artist who strives to create the kind of uncertainty that leads to possibility, and specialises in backward solutions for a progressive future. Richard invented the Carry-Ok wearable karaoke system, office chair sport The Swivelympics, and crocheted crypto-currency Knitcoin. In 2015 DeDomenici adapted the inexplicably popular Redux Project for television as part of the BBC4 event Live From Television Centre. It was described by a journalist as one of the smartest, strangest, subversive half hours of television they had ever seen. Following the cancellation of Eurovision in 2020, Dedomenici organised the Coronavision Song Contest instead. Richard has performed in over 30 countries, most recently at the 2020 International Biennale For Art & Technology in Trondheim, Norway. Later this year DeDomenici will launch an ambitious project on behalf of the Radical Independent Art Fund.
