For a limited time only, UNREALITY TV presents THE TRIUMPH OF THE GOLDEN GLORY as an online premiere. The dance film is an homage to pathos and opulence and to the grand gesture as a stylistic device. In their first work together, Nora Elberfeld and Jonas Woltemate celebrate the exuberant visual language of baroque painting with a seven-person ensemble. What significance and potentials do concepts such as abundance, pathos and sensuality have in contemporary art and society?

THE TRIUMPH OF THE GOLDEN GLORY was originally conceived as a stage show, but following repeated pandemic-related cancellations, the team decided to re-interpret the material of the stage show for the camera, producing a film version of the performance for different locations - which is how we now get to see it!
